At what resolution does the Scitex scan?
Our Scitex scanner scans optically at 5,600 x 14,000 dpi.

I need my scans in CMYK. Is that possible?
Yes. The Scitex scans in either CMYK or RGB.

I know the scanner at Scanstoday runs on a Mac. Is it possible for me to get my scans in PC format?
Yes. We can provide either PC or Mac files.

Can I save money by not having my files burned to CD if, for example, I provide ScansToday with a Zip disk of my own?
No. We only return output on CDrom. By regulating this we have streamlined our process which keeps prices down for everyone.

What if I need work done on the weekends?
Generally the staff at Scanstoday does not work on weekends. However, acceptions can be made by special arrangement.

Can you scan 3-D objects?
The Scitex scanner has about 1/2 inch field of focus. This means we can place objects on the bed of the scanner and it will scan them and all area within 1/2 inch above the bed.

Can you scan negatives?
Yes. Our scanner includes automatic tools that balance and adjust negative images shot under any lighting conditions. We can also use Negative Balance tools manually to handle unusual films.

What is the maximum size you can scan?
We can scan an area up to 12"x 18".

Do you offer digital proofs?
Not at this time, just great scans.
